Also, I wanted to comment on an email I’ve received, asking me how come I claim Star-Dusting is a non-profit website while I put on a Google ad. The thing is that keeping a web server and web storage costs money, so I’ve decided to give Google ads a try in order to cover some of the expenses. Therefore, any income I get from Google is definitely not a profit. Thanks for reading and enjoy the updates! ^^

Stop Direct-Linking!

Hi guys,

As I’m sure you’ve read my usage policy of using my screencaptures, you know I asked not to direct-link (display an image on your website that its source starts with http://stardusting.nekomaki.com or http://star-dusting.nekomaki.com…). Why? Because by doing this you’re:

  1. Stealing material from my website since you’re not asking permission to display it, nor credit me and link back.
  2. Stealing my bandwidth which costs me money!!

Every month I check the usage of my bandwidth and discover all kinds of interesting things… This girl for example has a Sailor Moon gallery which most of it are direct-linked screencaptures made by yours truly. The problem is she’s not alone, and there are many websites and blogs out there that direct-link my captures.

So I’ve decided to put an end to all of this and disabled direct-linking permanently. Sorry all of you that now have broken images on your websites, but stealing is not only annoying, but wrong.

Hi everyone!

First of all, Star-Dusting has a new affiliate: Moonkitty.NET! This is awesome because Brad is a wonderful person, and if there’s any chance (and I really doubt it) you haven’t visited this website, be sure to do so if you’re calling yourself a Sailor Moon fan ^^.

Just when I made it easier to update, the semester ended and the tests started, so I have no time to do anything but studying or writing papers… T_T . Therefore, sorry, but there won’t be many updates in the next three months…

But, here are some new galleries:

Naturally, all the other galleries were updated as well. I also fixed the disoriented galleries, but please let me know if there’s anyone I missed.
