And although my tests and papers are killing me and doing a very good job at it, I managed to slip in the outers’ transformation sequences! Plus, a surprise – Sailor Saturn’s transformation sequence! Oh yeah!! Saturn’s transformation was never seen in the anime, but in a Sailor Moon game made for the SEGA Saturn console (huh, what a coincidence ^^). This is why I must give credit to sailorvgame.org for the video clip. These caps are not in the best quality due to the quality of the video, but I tried my best to improve them. So, if any of you have a better quality clip of her transformation sequence (not a fan made one…), please contact me. This update is also very special, since it includes the galleires of the ending of the S season, my favorite episodes (so far…).

I would also like to welcome Star-Dusting’s newest affiliate: Sailor Moon Center! This wonderful website provides beautifully subbed and dubbed SM episodes, and was one of my very first sources for watching SM in Japanese years back, when I was watching them in Turkish and German and could not understand a word… ^^;;. I have a very big update for you today, but before we get into that, I’d like to point out that on October 26th, Geocities will shut down permanently. Geocities is one of the oldest free website hosting service on the net, and the very first one I used to host my “Silver Moon Image Gallery”. It really breaks my heart to think that just when Star-Dusting turned 10, its very first web host is shutting down. I’m also pointing this out because I’ve noticed some of you lovely surfers are still using Geocities to get here, so I recommend updating your bookmarks. Star-Dusting’s url is http://stardusting.nekomaki.com/.

And now for the updates. Today we have 5 new galleries: Tellu, Viluy, Cyprine & Ptilol and, ready yourselves, Sailor Chibimoon! Yes, the long awaited gallery is here with some really nice caps of the little rascal. In addition, although the requesting form isn’t up yet (I’m facing some server difficulties that will be resolved shortly…), I have combined all the caps that you have requested in the past into a gallery of their own. I must say you guys had a really good taste there ^^.

Another new thing I’ve added today is a brand new Winamp skin! Yes, I know, “Who uses Winamp these days? It’s all about iTunes now”. Well, iTunes is really great and all, but Winamp has a cool variety of skins including some really good Sailor Moon ones, and I really like the fact you can easily create a skin on your own (I’d like to see Apple reveling their code publicly…). So this is my very first try making a Winamp skin, please let me know if I have a future with this… ^^

A lot has happened since that day including name and layout changing (you can read about it here) and I’m so proud that despite all the difficulties, Star-Dusting had managed to become 10 years old!

Of course, it would not had come that far without you wonderful Sailor Moon fans who keep reminding me why I update this website, so thank you all very much! I would also like to thank my lovely affiliates for their enormous support, especially Brad from Moonkitty.net who also sent me this gift:

Sorry for my lack of updates lately. Just when I was done with all my tests, I moved to my new home and with all the packing, unpacking and the moving I can hardly find the time to do anything. ^^;;
Somehow I’ve managed to unpack my laptop today so I’d bring you this update…

First of all, please welcome Star-Dusting’s new affiliate, Serenitatis.de! It is a wonderful website with a lot to do and especially a lot to read (if you’re a German speaker like myself ^^) so be sure to check it out! It’s really great to see that there are many non-English Sailor Moon websites out there besides the English ones, isn’t it?

Well, as the title says, today’s update features Witches 5’s first witch Eudial, and a gallery for episode 110 (naturally, some galleries were updated as well). I was planning on uploading episode 111’s gallery as well, but when I gave a closer look on the caps, I’ve decided to recap some them due to a very poor quality. This might take me a while to do (since I’m still in the middle of unpacking… ^^;;), but I assure you it will be worth the wait.

I just love Sailor Moon games, don’t you? They are lots of fun and can keep you busy for hours. ^^

After like ten years or so that I’m playing the SMS Kurukkurin game, I finally understood what the kanji in the ending code means and figured out where to put it and what it does. I always thought it has no meaning and turned the game off (!!), but thanks to the Japanese lessons I’ve been taking this year, I found out it’s actually a code. Only last night (!!) I figured where to put it to make it work.

Turns out it unlocks secret characters (Super Sailor Moon and Sailor Saturn!) that you can play as and a new level, and it’s really cool. I will not reveal the code to you (the game is fun! play it!), but I will translate the kanji that appears in it (for those who are like I was in the past ten years ^^;;):

上= up

下= down

右= right

左= left

Also note that “Y” (for example) is not the letter Y, but the button you configured for Y. Type the code in the title screen and if you did it right, the colors will change. Have fun!

Because of this happy occasion, I’ve uploaded some sprites I made from this game. I also added some more sprites from Another Story.

And speaking of Another Story, I recently got this great book about the Canaanese mythology (I love mythologies…), and ran into some familiar names like Ishtar and Marduk. I got really exited and decided to write about the Oppositio Senshi’s etymology. Enjoy!

The thing is that keeping a web server and web storage costs money, so I’ve decided to give Google ads a try in order to cover some of the expenses.
