As I’m sure you’ve read my usage policy of using my screencaptures, you know I asked not to direct-link (display an image on your website that its source starts with http://stardusting.nekomaki.com or http://star-dusting.nekomaki.com…). Why? Because by doing this you’re:
- Stealing material from my website since you’re not asking permission to display it, nor credit me and link back.
- Stealing my bandwidth which costs me money!!
Every month I check the usage of my bandwidth and discover all kinds of interesting things… This girl for example has a Sailor Moon gallery which most of it are direct-linked screencaptures made by yours truly. The problem is she’s not alone, and there are many websites and blogs out there that direct-link my captures.
So I’ve decided to put an end to all of this and disabled direct-linking permanently. Sorry all of you that now have broken images on your websites, but stealing is not only annoying, but wrong.
